Amboseli is famous for its close encounters with wild elephants, making it one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. You’ll also be treated to breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The elephants thrive here, often found in the swamp areas where they share cool waters with hippos. The park boasts a significant population of Burchell’s zebras and other herbivores, including Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, buffalo, warthogs, Maasai giraffes, impalas, waterbucks, and dik-diks.
After a thrilling day, return to your accommodation the for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and embark on your journey to Nakuru via Nairobi, stopping for lunch along the way. The trip takes about seven hours, providing breathtaking views of the Rift Valley escarpment. You’ll arrive at the park in the late afternoon, giving you some time to unwind before an evening game drive.
Nakuru National Park is renowned for its vast flocks of lesser flamingos, drawn to the algae-rich soda lake. The park is home to over 50 species of mammals, including hippos, both black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, and eland. Birdwatchers will be thrilled to spot more than 450 species. Enjoy hiking through the picturesque landscape, picnicking by the lake, and be sure to visit the stunning Makalia Waterfall. After a fulfilling day, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, depart from Lake Nakuru National Park and head to Lake Naivasha, stopping at Hell’s Gate National Park for a refreshing nature walk. Upon arrival at your accommodation, enjoy a delicious lunch before setting out for an evening game drive along the lake. Experience the beauty of the area with a boat ride to Crescent Island, where you can stroll among wildlife, including giraffes, creating unforgettable memories. The tranquil setting provides the perfect backdrop for a close encounter with nature.
