Our company driver-guide will pick you up from the airport or at your hotel in Nairobi for a scenic drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have a stopover at the spectacular Great Rift Valley viewpoint to stretch your legs and photograph the contrasting landscapes including Mount Longonot. You will arrive at the park in good time for lunch. You’ll check into your accommodation. After lunch, you’ll depart for an afternoon game drive. You’ll return to your accommodation at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.
Lake Nakuru is among Kenya’s finest national parks. The park is gorgeous all year round and boasts rocky escarpments, patches of yellow-barked acacia forest, and a waterfall. It is home to flamingos, both black and white rhinos; lions, leopards, buffaloes, hippos, and the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes. The forested area below the Rhinos cliff is a favorite lion-spotting point where lionesses love to sleep in the trees, and leopards frequent the same area.
Today after breakfast, you will drive through the Rift Valley floor to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving at the accommodation in good time for lunch. You’ll embark on your first game drive in this beautiful savannah grassland this afternoon in search of the Big Five and other herbivores that roam around here. You’ll return to your accommodation at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.
One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. That’s because the wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards, and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights. There’s a very good chance you’ll also see giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and, of course, impalas. Bring your binoculars, because more than 500 species of birds have been recorded in the reserve. It’s a place of beautiful savannah landscapes as well, with lots of acacia trees.
This is a full day spent wildlife viewing across the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous savannah. The Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game animals like leopards, cheetahs, lions, and other herbivores. It has virtually every other type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. You will have a full-day game drive in Masai Mara.
Your lunch today is picnic lunch boxes in the savannah under a lone flat-top acacia tree while watching the animals grazing. You’ll continue with wildlife viewing en route to your camp, arriving late in the evening after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah measuring 1,500 sq.
You have an option of booking a balloon ride today which takes off early in the morning. After landing, the crew helps you out of the basket and escorts you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast which is a lifetime experience and worth the
price. Later, you’ll join your driver guide at a location and proceed with your full-day game drive.
After breakfast, You will be transferred to the Isibania border a 4 hours drive from Mara. you will clear with the immigration and our Tanzanian guide will pick up from there. Because the Serengeti and Masai Mara share the same ecosystem, there is plenty to see. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your accommodation.
You will have great moments at Serengeti.
You’ll wake up to another glorious day in the Serengeti. You’ll start the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they’re at their most active. Then, you will return to the accommodation for a relaxed breakfast and lunch.
You’ll spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in the camp reading your favorite book writing your journal about the safari or just listening to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don’t stress, the animals will be doing the same. You’ll head off again in the afternoon for another drive through the park. You’ll return to the accommodation for dinner and another night under the Serengeti’s stars.
Note: There’s also an option of an early hot air balloon ride at an extra cost.
Today, you will start your day early with an exhilarating early morning safari before breakfast. This will allow you to observe the animals when they are most active and witness the breathtaking sunrise in the African savannah. Following the game drive, you will return to the accommodation for a hearty breakfast.
As you exit the park, you will embark on a final game drive through the Serengeti. Your journey will then take you through the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, renowned as the 8th natural wonder of the world. The crater, with its towering 2,000 ft walls and a sprawling floor of 102 sq. miles, is a sanctuary for a diverse range of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. It is home to the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet, including majestic bull elephants with exceptionally large tusks, owing to the nutrient-rich volcanic soil and grasses.
This morning, you’ll descend into the crater with your packed lunch boxes, arriving before most visitors when the animals are most active. Thanks to the ideal location of your accommodations on the crater’s rim, you’ll begin your half-day crater tour. The animals here are less wary of humans and vehicles, making it easier to observe them up close. The crater floor is home to a rich and concentrated variety of wildlife, including around 20,000 mammals. Notably, there are approximately 20 black rhinoceros, making the crater the best place in Tanzania to see these magnificent creatures.
After your tour, you will ascend and drive to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your safari.
Please note that you have flexibility in your travel plans. You can choose to fly home from Kilimanjaro Airport or Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Alternatively, you might consider flying from Arusha to Zanzibar Island to extend your stay with a beach holiday.
