On this day in Serengeti National Park, get ready for another day full of excitement. Start with an early morning game drive across the famous plains, where you’ll see the Big Five in their natural habitat. After a hearty breakfast back at your lodge, set out for a full day of game drives to explore the park’s rich wildlife and landscapes. We recommend getting up early to start your game drive while the animals are most active and to catch one of the most breathtaking sunrises you’ll ever experience (with an optional balloon safari for a unique view). After your drive, return to your accommodation for a delicious brunch before setting off for Ngorongoro, often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. This magnificent crater, spanning 102 square miles and surrounded by 2,000-foot-high walls, serves as a natural Noah’s Ark, hosting nearly every species native to East Africa. It’s one of the few places where you might spot the elusive black rhino. The crater’s diverse landscape includes a river, several swamps, a soda lake with flamingos, a forest, and vast plains. It’s especially famous for its large elephants with impressive tusks.

You will reach your accommodation in the evening, where you can enjoy dinner and unwind for the night.

We will start the day with an early breakfast before checking out of your accommodation. From there, we will head out on a game drive, stopping at a Maasai village along the way before continuing to Arusha. We expect you to arrive in Arusha with ample time for your flight-home. This will conclude our services as we drop you off at the airport.
