8 Days Kenyan Bush and Beach Safari Vacation

Imagine submerging yourself in the raw African bush with its incredible concentration of wildlife and relaxing with a sundowner on a sandy beach afterward. The ideal way is to begin your trip with a safari adventure, venturing into the wild African bush, and later on, there is no better way than to unwind while relaxing on coastal beaches.

Lake Nakuru is fringed by papyrus and acacia trees as well as supports a vast array of bird species such as pink flamingos. Masai Mara National Reserve where the massive herds of wildebeests and zebras seasonally traverse an ancient wildlife path as part of the Great Migration.

Blending the thrill of a safari in the bush with the relaxation at the beach is a great way to make the most out of your trip to Africa.

What to Expect

The Mara has a fairly consistent landscape of open grasslands. This is a classic ‘savannah’ country with golden grass, blue skies, and the occasional tree. Home to an abundance of resident wildlife and the annual Wildebeest Migration (about August to November), Masai Mara National Reserve is without doubt one of Africa’s most authentic safari destinations. 

Lake Nakuru provides you with one of Kenya’s best-known images. Thousands of flamingo, joined into a massive flock, fringe the shores of this soda lake. A pulsing pink swathe of life that carpets the water, the flamingo is a breathtaking sight.

The coastal region with the best beaches in the world perfect for relaxation and unwinding and lots of watersports and activities.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi and be welcomed by our representative, be transferred to Ole Sereni Hotel for refreshment. Afterward, you can either relax in the hotel or explore Africa’s fourth-largest city, Nairobi’s cafe culture, unbridled nightlife.

Accommodation – Ole Sereni.

Meal Plan – Half Board

Day 2Nairobi - Nakuru

Rise early and drive to Nakuru through the Great Rift Valley with breathtaking views.  Arrive before lunch and later on proceed for a game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, spot some of the big 5 and the spectacular view of Lake Nakuru which supports a vast array of bird species like pink flamingos.

Accommodation – Sarova Woodland

Meal Plan – Half Board.

Day 3 / 4Nakuru - Mara

After breakfast, drive to the famous Masai Mara through the Rift Valley and the Masai lands and arrive at the Mara Serena for lunch.

Have the option to go for the evening game drive and spot some of the animals, or have a siesta and watch as the sun sets over the mara plains.

The following day, in the morning game drive you will be able to see if luck all the big 5 and many other animals. At mid-morning head back to the lodge for relaxation and other activities.

Meal plan – Full Board

Day 5 / 6Mara - Nairobi

Check out and head back to Nairobi through the Narok county and the highlands along as you arrive in the afternoon at Ole Sereni.

Explore the city or have relaxing moments at the hotel.

The following morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mombasa and after an hour you will arrive and welcomed with our local guide and check-in at Swahili Beach Resort and Spa.

At the resort relax and enjoy the warm breeze of the Indian Ocean and sunbathe at the sandy beach.

Meal Plan – Half Board

Day 7 / 8Diani

This day is for relaxing and exploring the coastal region with walks on the beach and experiencing the Swahili culture and cuisines.

After the check out the following day, you will be transferred to the airport back to Nairobi. This comes to the end of your journey and thank you.
